I was fortunate enough to grow up in the beautiful county of Cornwall, and taking up photography has led to me revisit and explore in greater detail than ever before the area I grew up in, along with the area around my current home.
I am now based in South Wales surrounded by the rolling hills of the Brecon Beacons, the raw beauty of the Glamorgan Heritage Coast and the Gower Peninsula.
I am also a frequent, and very happy, visitor to the stunning vistas of the Lake District, an area that is inspirational to me for its beauty – and not just in photographic terms.
I took up photography in February 2010 after purchasing a Canon 20d from a work colleague. I was soon hooked and a selection of lenses and a camera upgrade to a Canon 40d, quickly found their way into my camera bag.
This year I have decided to work towards gaining an AFIAP Photography Distinction. You can see the photos that have been accepted into International Photography Salons and any awards gained here.
I have always appreciated the scenery around me but taking up photography has re-opened my eyes to just how beautiful the world around us really is.
This website is dedicated to showing the sheer beauty and majesty of the wildlife and scenery of my favourite places, as seen through my eyes and lens.
